It looks like Scenes from the Suburbs is actually finished. Spike Jonze has been playing with fans of the music video The Suburbs for the past couple of months. First, stating that the film would come out in August. Then delaying the release of the film due to the Arcade Fire’s album being pushed back to December. Once December came around there was no film to be seen, and no word from Spike Jonze. Now there is confirmation that the film will be viewable at the Berlin International Film Festival. 

There is still no release date for the film so  you’ll just have to go to Berlin to view it! :p

My girlfriend and I celebrated our one year of love in NYC this weekend.

First it was Little Italy for an Italian Festival. Afterward, we walked down to China Town so I could play a few games at the Mott St. arcade. Next, we met up with Calc for some drinks and snacks at Crif Dogs at St. Marks. Check out the original Donkey Kong arcade machine as our dinner table.

Next morning, kicked off the day with some Mimosa’s

And finally, before heading home we did some window shopping in SoHo. Successful weekend I’d say.
